TOWN OF CHESTER
FIRE STATION HEAT PUMP INSTALLATION
The Town of Chester invites price quotes for energy efficiency upgrades to their Fire Station located at 300 Route 20 in Chester. Efficiency upgrades include the demolition and removal of the existing oil-fired forced air heating system (furnace, ducting, oil tanks) and installation of a high efficiency heat pump system for localized heating and cooling. The project also includes the installation of fiberglass insulation between the Station’s meeting hall and the uninsulated garage below. The work is estimated to cost $16,000.
This project is being administered by the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission (PVPC) on behalf of the town of Chester and funded by the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, FY2018 Green Communities Grant Program.
Procurement documents are available by contacting Erica Johnson at the PVPC at firstname.lastname@example.org. Questions regarding the project should be directed to Erica Johnson at the email above or by phone at 413-781-6045.
