The Town of Chester, in conjunction with the towns of Blandford, Huntington, Middlefield, Montgomery, and Russell will conduct a remote Public Hearing via Zoom on Wednesday, June 3rd 2020 at 5:30 PM.

The public is encouraged to join a meeting regarding HUD’s CARES Act Flexibilities for CDBG Funds. The purpose of this hearing will be to consider a grant application to the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development in response to available funding through the CARES Act of 2020. The application will consider funding for the following social service programs that serve these communities, the Huntington Food Pantry and Southern Hilltowns Adult Education Center. The application may also cover assistance to the Hilltown Social Service Project.
Any proposed activity through this grant will be in response to COVID-19 in an allowable amount of not greater than $400,000 per community.
