All driveways require a Driveway Permit from the Highway Superintendent in order to assure compliance with Town standards and guidelines. A copy of the application for a Driveway Permit may be downloaded by clicking on the link below. Completed applications should either be mailed to the Highway Superintendent at the address noted on the application or emailed to the address above. The Town of Chester Highway Department is seeking qualified vendors for on-call snow removal and plowing for the 2016-2017 winter season. Please send letter of interest including hourly rate and proof of insurance by November 1, 2016.

The following roads will be closed to the public from November 15th to April 15th for purposes of snow plowing.

    Kinnebrook Rd., from last year round resident to Worthington line.

    End of Smith Road from last year round resident to Worthington line.

    Middle section of Round Hill.

    Cooper Drive will be plowed as needed.
