Dog Licensing
• All dogs over 6 months of age that are staying at a property in Chester for 6 months or more must be licensed with the town. To license your dog please contact the Chester Town Clerk at 413-354-6603 or [email protected].
Animal Bites, rabies exposures, bat in the home
• Please contact the Animal Control Officer/Inspector of Animals at 413-354-0975.
Wildlife Concerns
• Call The Animal Control Officer at 413-354-0975.
• Only a Problem Animal Control (PAC) Agent licensed with the state can trap wildlife for extermination (trapping and relocation of wildlife is illegal, will not solve the issue, and is inhumane; Here’s why.)
