Notice is hereby given that on December 28, 2020 at 6:00 PM at the Town Hall, pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 60, Section 77B; Mary Ann Pease, the Custodian for the Town of Chester, intends to sell the Hereinafter described parcels of land at public auction by sealed bid.

Parcel #1
Land containing 2.33 acres more or less located at 3 Birch Circle in said Chester described in the deed recorded at the Hampden County Registry of Deeds, Book 17136, Page 454, and shown on Assessors map 405 Parcel 114.0

Sale of described parcel will be made to the highest bidder, with a minimum bid of $10,000.00 at a competitive sealed bid auction. The Custodian reserves the right to reject any and all bids at the sale or any adjournment thereof which, she, in her sole discretion, deems inadequate. All bids must be submitted with a deposit of $5,000.00. The deposit must be in the form of cash, certified check, money order or bank check. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The remainder of the purchase price must be paid within twenty (20) days or less by cash, certified check, money order, bank check or attorney IOLTA check. Failure to pay the remainder of the purchase price within twenty (20) days will result in the forfeiture of the deposit to the Town of Chester.

Sale of described parcel will be made to the highest bidder, with a minimum bid of $5,000.00 at a competitive sealed bid auction.
