The Department of Revenue requires Assessors to re-measure and inspect all properties in town, within a 10-year period. Cyclical inspections involve interior and exterior inspections. These inspections are necessary to validate the physical information on property record cards that is used to determine your property values.
Drew from Mayflower Valuation will be doing the inspections and updating house pictures in October and November. If you are home, he will ask to do a complete interior and exterior inspection. If you aren’t home, he will do an exterior inspection. He will be starting in the village, along with RT 20 and all streets that branch off. If time permits, he will continue up Skyline Trail. Updates will be posted on the website.
