Thursday, May 9, 2024 thru Tuesday, May 14, 2024, there is going to be a lot of road construction on Main Street and Prospect Street in front of the train station. We will be milling Main Street from Route 20 to North side of the railroad underpass. This construction will go from 6am to approximately 6pm. The roads will be congested but passible to everyone. We are asking you to please be patient just a little longer.
On Monday, May 13, 2024, we intend to pave Main Street including the bridge over the West Branch of the Westfield River. We will be working with businesses on Main Street to minimize any parking issues. We will manage on-street parking as well as we possibly can. Most of the milling should be done by noon.
This is all weather-dependent and subject to change unexpectedly.
