Selectman Craig Gauthier, who has been coordinating the Drinking Water Distribution efforts at the Fire Station for customers of the Chester Water System impacted by the DEP Boil Water Order, is putting out an urgent request for volunteers.
He needs volunteers for Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10AM-6PM, and Saturdays, 9AM-1PM. He warns if volunteers are not available to staff the water distribution tent the site will be shut down for the day. Call Craig at 413-297-6909 if you have some time to donate to the effort. We are hoping it won’t be necessary for much longer.
