The Water Commission has issued a Water Use Restriction for Chester Water system users.
Due to a lack of sufficient rain fall, dry conditions, high fire danger, no significant drought relief in sight, reduced water capacity at Horn Pond and no back up at Austin Brook Reservoir, the Water Commission urges you to please limit your overall water use and do not use outside water for things like watering your lawns, cleaning your driveways, or washing your cars.
This water use restriction is effective immediately and remains until further notice.
