Town Clerk Terry Donovan is informing residents of Chester that the annual street listing (census) form and dog license forms have been mailed to each household and need to be returned to the Town Clerk’s office.
Dog licenses are required each year for any dog six months or older with the current licenses expiring on March 31.

A Rabies clinic will be held on March 15th from 1pm-3pm at the Middlefield Town Hall, Skyline Trail, Middlefield. This is for all dogs and cats and is open to other town residents as well. The cost for vaccination is $20.00. Middlefield dog licenses will be available as well. Bring your rabies vaccination certificate.
Chester’s Annual Town Election is being held on May 3rd at the Town Hall from 9AM-2PM.
To run for office, you must be a registered voter of Chester and obtain nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s office. Nomination papers must be returned with at least 20 qualified signatures by March 14th.
The following positions will be on the May 3rd ballot and are listed as three-year terms unless otherwise noted.
