Tuesday, May 27th, thru Friday, May 30th, the Highway Department will be working on reinforcing the banks on the brook side of Johnson Hill Road to stabilize them. We will also be starting repair work on a culvert by the water plant on Johnson Hill Road that is collapsing.
Johnson Hill Road between Lyons and Middlefield Road will be closed daily from 7am to 5 pm to get this work done. It will be open for emergency vehicles only during the day. The road will be open from around 5PM to 7AM. Please expect delays. Please use an alternate route during this time so we can get this project done.
This project is necessary because the banks are falling into the brook.
