ANCESTRY.COM: (NEW) now available at the library!! We have one computer dedicated for a library edition of Ancestry.com, so call today to reserve your time slot.
• Writer’s Club: Writers of any level, in any stage of the creative process, are welcome to join in supporting each other through the writing journey. The club will meet @ 4:30pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. (August 9th) *This is a change from the previous month.*
• Kids-Story time & Creative Movement: Thursday 8/10 @ 11:30am (during our regular story time), we welcome back Laurel Lenski who holds a B.S. in Expressive Art Therapy and an AA in Dance.
• Nature Matters Inc.: Special Summer Reading finale! Join in the fun as we welcome back Jen Leahey and her adorable animal friends while she shares her knowledge and wisdom of the natural world. Saturday August 12th at 11am.
• Monthly Book Club: Meets the 3rd Wednesday every month @ 4:30pm. Stop in for our next meeting on August 16th, when we will discuss the novel, “The Private Patient” by P.D. James.
• LEGOS IN MOTION with Tayo! Special event, Thursday August 17th at 1pm. Have fun combining gears, engineering, and imagination as you build your own, take -home movable creation. Ages 8-17 yrs. Space is limited. MUST RSVP.
• (NEW) Teen Scene: Every Tuesday at 4pm. Create your own comic book on 8/1. Make-up/skin care specialist, Kisha, will join us Tuesday 8/22, to share her skills just in time for the new school year! Everyone will receive a goody bag with samples. Please RSVP by the 17th.
• Story time, craft, and snack: Every Thursday @ 11:30am (perfect for preschoolers!)
• LEGO Club: Every Thursday at 1pm.
