December Events in the COA!!
Monday, December 4 at 1pm: The COA is having the 1st monthly meeting for the COA Advisory Board. All seniors are welcome to come and give their thoughts and ideas for improving the senior center.
Wednesday, December 6: The start of our 6 week Yoga program, instructed by Ilene Duane. Senior class time is 3pm-4pm. Any age Yoga class time is 6pm-7pm. Ilene is a certified Yoga Instructor and is eager to assist others in Mind and Body Wellness. Classes are by Donation only, 0-$10. Pay what you can if you can.
Thursday, December 7: The COA is continuing our quilting and crocheting days. Bring your crafts and spend some time with friends.
Friday, December 8 from 1pm to 4pm: The COA is going to be making Kissing Balls for the Holidays. Please call the COA (413-354-7735) to let us know you’re coming so we can have enough materials.
Tuesday, December 12: The monthly Foot Clinic and we will also be having a SHINE counselor come into the COA for insurance assistance and help with medical questions.
Wednesday, December 13: We are continuing our monthly Pot Luck at 12:30!
Friday, December 15: Our monthly movie day with popcorn and beverages. Each month we show a different movie. Come have lunch and enjoy a movie and popcorn!
Saturday, December 16 at 2pm: The COA is hosting a Town Christmas Party. Gateway School Choir will be performing Christmas music. Baked goods and beverages will be served! Bring the family or meet with friends and enjoy a nice performance by the school.
Wednesday, December 20 at 12:30pm: The COA is having a Christmas Cookie Swap! Make your favorite cookies and swap with friends for the Holiday.
The COA will be closed on Tuesdays with the exception of the 2nd Tuesday of every month for the Foot Clinic and SHINE counselor.
The COA will also be closed December 26th and December 27th after Christmas to allow our employees and volunteers to visit with their families for the Holiday.
