We anticipate continued visual improvement in water quality and are doing everything possible to expedite reaching the DEP turbidity threshold, necessary for them to rescind the Boil Water order. This includes replacing of additional Water Treatment Plant (WTP) infrastructure, including installation of ‘Wye strainer’ protective device, continual daily cleaning of all monitors & replacement of some piping. Our new Grant-funded filter beds are performing as expected & when we take the exit ramp from this crisis, we will be positioned to continue pursuing our goal…improved water quality.
