Volunteers Needed – Open Space Plan Committee

The Town of Chester is looking for 3 members of the community to volunteer to join the Open Space Plan Committee.

An Open Space Plan is a comprehensive, action-oriented document used by municipalities to identify, preserve, and manage undeveloped land, such as parks, forests, and trails. It acts as a blueprint for long-term conservation, guiding decisions on land acquisition, zoning, and recreational needs to ensure community well-being and ecological balance. Please reach out to Andrew Alward, Town Administrator, if interested at [email protected].
