The Chester Cultural Council requests your input as we prepare to accept 2027 grant applications.
As part of the Mass Cultural Council’s Local Cultural Council Program, our all-volunteer, municipally appointed council helps bring public support for the arts, humanities, and sciences directly to Chester. Each year, the Mass Cultural Council supports local councils across Massachusetts. Chester’s annual allocation of approximately $5,700 allows us to fund cultural programs by individuals, artists, organizations, and schools that benefit our community.
Because these are public cultural funds intended to reflect local needs, gathering public opinion is essential. Your confidential response will help the Chester Cultural Council identify community priorities, strengthen local guidelines, and make informed funding decisions for arts and cultural programs that serve Chester residents.
