Absentee ballots are available for the Special Town Election on Saturday, September 19, 2026.
Voters who wish to vote by absentee ballot must submit a written request to the Town Clerk. Requests may be submitted by:
• Email
• Mail
• Drop-off at the Town Clerk’s Office
Absentee ballot requests must be received by the Town Clerk no later than Monday, September 14, 2026.
The Special Town Election will be held at Chester Town Hall, 15 Middlefield Road, with polls open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The following positions will appear on the ballot:
• Selectboard
• School Committee
• Water Commissioner
• Electric Light Commissioner
